Summer had its official end on August 31, according the weather people. While the calendar gives us until the third week of September to let go of our easy summer livin’ ways, the fruity cocktails and patio parties are making way for chili cook-offs and coffee and Kahlúa. The end of summer brings us sadness, but also all the fall food! I live for autumn recipes!

Apples, pumpkins, and all the sweets and treats you can make out of them give us all kinds of warm fuzzies! Comfort foods like mashed potatoes and soups and mac and cheese, which you can eat any time, but are just better in the fall.
