Back before Christmas, we hosted THE Mama’s Market at THE Market: A Journey to Joy and The Spotlight Theatre. We had a delightful time; so much fun in fact, we’re going to host another THE Mama’s Market September 20! Plan to be there!
In the Quad Cities, we have so many great events, especially around the holidays. I am so thankful for your faith in the QC Moms to create a special night out for you. You came and it was a huge success. Thanks to each of you who joined us this year. We worked so hard to make it our best ever!
(Thanks to Giraffe Photography for all the wonderful photos! Check them all out and tag yourself on Facebook.)
If you didn’t make it, here is what you missed.
We loved our hosts at The Market: A Journey to Joy and The Spotlight Theatre – it was fun to see so many moms enjoying one of our favorite local spots after hours! Many of you had never been here before, and we enjoyed seeing you so delighted at the many offerings of our location.

From the moment moms walked in the door, it was all about creating a VIP experience. We gave you exclusive after hours shopping, special make and takes and samples. You got some pampering, and education. We offered you the chance to meet some of the shop owners and get your purchased ornaments personalized by the artists. Many of you found perfect presents as well as a little something for yourself! You had a chance to relax and laugh and be encouraged.

We were blessed to sit under the encouraging and uplifting Sarah Stevens as she shared with us about making space for you. The feedback we got about her talk was incredible. It was a message many of us sorely needed, and need to keep hearing. Make sure you subscribe to her podcast and follow her blog at The Beautifull Project.

Moms enjoyed delicious food and drinks. The Mama Margaritas were such a huge hit that the bartenders had to dash out for more liquor. They’ll be better prepared next time!
The pizza from Streets of Italy was delectable- and they ran a super special THE Mama’s Market deal for us. You got to take a dollar off the cost of the pizza for each child you have! Finally having all those kids pays off!
There was a wide variety of information for moms from local experts.
And there were also plenty of opportunities to craft, shop, learn and be pampered.
We are so grateful that we could be part of creating a wonderful evening for you to enjoy in this way. Thank you Quad Cities Moms!
